BIOCERA recommends the installation of a pressure relief valve, after the filter and before the drinking water faucet to vent H2 gas formed in the water transfer line. Failure to install a pressure relief valve may result in gas eruption and water splash when the faucet is opened. Excess gas production typically subsides within 7-14 days.
Pressure relief valve and install hardware is available for a small additional cost.
